French logistics company FAT International had an ambitious goal in the 1990s: to win the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans. Working together with Porsche and former racing driver Joachim Dauer, FAT helped the Le Mans-winning Porsche 962 return to the track after years of silence. The 962 won the 1994 race.
This victory, and the subsequent resurgence of the racing spirit at FAT International, inspired Ferdy Porsche (nephew of F.A. Porsche) to re-invent the FAT brand as a modern racing community. The Chronograph 1 – FAT 2025 Edition features a 40.8 mm titanium case, water-resistant to 100 meters, that pays homage to the legendary aerodynamic shape of the Porsche 962 and a matte carbon fiber finish.
