After 20 years of success, Breitling has updated the Avenger collection with a new lineup, including the Time Only Automatic, the GMT Automatic, and two major versions of the B01 Manufacture Chronograph.
Another big release from Breitling. This time, the chronographs all use the B01 in-house movement in tri-compax layout. The base Avenger B01 Chronograph 33 is available in 4 dials. A special edition called “Night Mission” is launched with two dial options: black and Breitling yellow.
For us, the star of the novelty launch is the Night Mission series, which comes with a black ceramic case and a black dial model with a carbon dial. This is Breitling’s first watch with a carbon fiber dial. Although we think the yellow version, which has been on Breitling’s bestseller lists for years, will also be popular.
In addition to the chronograph, two other automatic watches were released. One is 42mm and comes in three styles with your choice of black, blue or green dial. These chronograph-only (with date) automatic fake watches will be powered by Caliber 32 (a derivative of ETA 2894).
Another 44mm GMT watch with black or blue dial, powered by Caliber 17 (an ETA 2824 derivative) movement.
For more than 20 years, the Breitling Avenger has been at the forefront of aerial adventure. This watch is built for jet pilots to handle the toughest cockpits and keep coming back for more. But you don’t need to be Air Force qualified to appreciate its bold design, superior resiliency and next-level functionality.
Avengers, newer and unstoppable. Breitling redesigned to meet the needs of the sky, centered on stylish aviation details, wear-resistant materials, and added the powerful Breitling homemade 01 movement to its chronograph models.
Breitling’s relationship with aviation dates back to the 1930s, when third-generation founder Willy Breitling established the HUIT aviation department to create precision aircraft instruments and pilot chronographs. Its expertise in the then-emerging field of military aviation continued into the birth of commercial air travel and beyond, resulting in famous timepieces such as the Navitimer, AVI Co-Pilot, Aerospace, Emergency and Avenger. No other watch brand has such an impressive and lasting connection with aviation.
“The Avenger was born to withstand the harsh conditions of a jet cockpit and support pilots in demanding aerial maneuvers. It was no less demanding in its redesign.” Breitling CEO Georges Kern said. “This series perfectly combines all the performance with sophisticated modern aviation style.”
The new collection comes in three styles. 44mm Chronograph, 44mm Automatic GMT and 42mm Automatic. All models are available with a military leather strap with a folding pin buckle or a three-row stainless steel strap with a micro-adjustable folding clasp. Each is water-resistant to 300 m. Whether you’re able to pull out a roller barrel or not, you’ll appreciate their easy-grip functionality and corrosion-resistant construction. Let’s explore the model.
Avengers B01 Chronograph 44 and Night Mission
The power behind the new Avenger Chronograph is Breitling’s in-house Caliber 01 movement, which provides approximately 70 hours of power, comes with a five-year warranty, and is a COSC-certified chronometer. To showcase the precise mechanics of the movement, the chronograph is equipped with an open sapphire crystal case back.
The core model features a colored dial (blue, green, black or sand) and a stainless steel 60-minute rotating bezel. Baton-style hour markers simplify the dial and highlight the red-tipped chronograph hands. Note the grip pattern on the crown and bezel, as well as the new square pushers designed for the smoothest timekeeping operation.
Avenger Automatic GMT 44
The red GMT hand reads Zulu time at a glance along the 24-hour rotating bezel, making it a favorite among pilots and frequent flyers. The diameter is the same as the chronograph, but the shape is more compact. The steel-cased Avenger Automatic GMT watch is available with a black or navy blue dial and is paired with either a military leather strap or a three-row stainless steel bracelet. It is powered by the COSC-certified Breitling Caliber 32 movement, which offers approximately 42 hours of power reserve.
Avenger Automatic 42
This well-balanced watch has all the sturdiness of a large 42 mm diameter watch. The Avenger Automatic is crafted from stainless steel and comes with a choice of black, navy blue or camo green dials, and a choice of matching military leather strap or three-row stainless steel bracelet. Its engine is powered by the COSC-certified Breitling Caliber 17 automatic three-hand movement, which provides up to 38 hours of power.

For those looking for a bolder look, the Avengers Night Mission Chronograph (with a vibrant yellow or carbon black dial) has a case and bezel made entirely of scratch-resistant ceramic. Meanwhile, its caseback, crown, pushers and buckle are all made from solid titanium, which has the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any metal. The dial numerals offer excellent legibility, especially on the black dial made of resilient carbon fiber.
This is no coincidence when you discover that carbon fiber, titanium and steel are also materials used in aircraft design. Avenger aircraft are lightweight and strong, just like the jets they ride on. luxury replica watches
