The successor to the fake Patek Philippe classic in 1941 (Ref. 1518). The 52.7 perpetual calendar chronograph has been available in platinum, gold opaque dial and rose gold version and “goutte” gold bracelet since 2018.
Now, for the first time, the manufacturer has expanded the regular collection of this large-scale complex gold series.
The silver opaque dial, plus the baton index and golden leaf-shaped hands ensure excellent readability. The display of the perpetual calendar is balanced with the simulated date at 6 o’clock and the double aperture of the month and month at 12 o’clock. The CH 29-535 PS Q movement is the first chronograph movement with a perpetual calendar developed in 2011, entirely made by Patek Philippe. It combines the traditional structure (horizontal clutch, column wheel and manual winder) and six patented chronograph innovations, and it stands out with its ultra-thin calendar mechanism (1.65 mm, accommodating 182 parts).
The movement can be appreciated through the sapphire crystal case back. The 18K gold solid back panel is part of the scope of supply.
New Ref. 5270J-001 is worn on a hand-stitched matt chocolate brown alligator leather strap. The strap is generous and secured with a gold folding clasp. It is combined with the previous platinum and rose gold models to suit the personal preferences of Patek Philippe complication lovers.
